Enjoy the trailer for the 15th edition of East Doc Platform, created by director and animator Zdeněk Durdil with music by Džian Baban.
Both the trailer and the visual concept (designed by graphic designer Kateřina Janků) draw inspiration from the theme of this year’s edition, Afterimages—traces that remain even after the moment itself has passed. Just as an afterimage lingers in our perception, documentary films carry experiences beyond their immediate context, leaving an imprint that continues to resonate with the viewer over time.
The 15th East Doc Platform will take place March 19–25 at the French Institute in Prague, bringing together filmmakers, producers, and industry professionals from around the world. We look forward to seeing you there!
The East Doc Platform is made possible thanks to the financial support of Creative Europe MEDIA, Czech Audiovisual Fund, Ministry of Culture Czech Republic, the capital city of Prague, APA - Audiovisual Producers' Association, Czech-German Future Fund, HBO, Creative Europe Desk Czech Republic and the Austrian Cultural Forum.
The general media partner is the Czech television.
The event is held in cooperation with the One World Film Festival and the French Institute in Prague.
