Synopsis
After 28 years in jail, 55-years-old Povilas Marcinkus arrives to a nursing home in Lioliu village. One-legged and drug-addicted, Povilas becomes the unofficial “boss” of the nursing home manipulating and violently abusing the villagers and the elderly people living with him in the institution. To earn his living, the man goes to Vilnius to beg for money. The comfortable life of Povilas comes to an end when he harasses a local store-keeper with a knife. Thrown out from the nursing home, he moves to Vilnius where he survives as a beggar. Unfortunately, he meets the love of his life – the drug addicted homeless Snezhana who encourages Povilas to get back to drugs. Powerless, Povilas has no more control over his life, as it turns around his daily drug dose.
