The Rolling Orchestra

The MAV Symphony Orchestra is unique by its origin: the only orchestra which was established and carried by a railway company, shortly after the Second World War. The "rolling orchestra and opera house" carried music and operas to the destroyed towns all over the country. The MAV Symphony Orchestra has become one of the leading orchestras of Hungary. The founder-member musicians of the orchestra tell the strange story.
