Richard’s work has ranged from Music Videos with David Bowie and Mick Jagger to Commercials and Documentaries; including five series of the Royal Institution Christmas Lectures for BBC2 and ‘Cold War’, the 24-part, BAFTA nominated, Peabody award-winning history series commissioned by Ted Turner for CNN and the BBC. More recently he was the Executive Producer on ‘Night Will Fall’ – a feature length documentary for the BFI, HBO and Channel 4, which was been awarded the Emmy for Outstanding Historical Documentary, The Royal Television Society Award and the Peabody Medal in the USA. He was nominated for another Emmy in 2017 for Into the Inferno’ the story of volcanoes and mankind directed by Werner Herzog for Netflix.
